At Seesam, we are committed to making our digital services accessible and usable for as many people as possible, including those with disabilities. Our platform is developed with accessibility in mind, following internationally recognized standards to ensure usability for everyone.

Accessibility Standards

We follow the principles of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, targeting Level AA compliance. These guidelines help us provide content that is:

Perceivable – users can access and understand content regardless of sensory limitations.
Operable – interfaces are navigable using keyboards and assistive devices.
Understandable – pages and components behave in consistent, predictable ways.
Accessible – our services work well with modern assistive technologies like screen readers.

Key Accessibility Features

Keyboard Navigation: all primary features are usable without a mouse.
Screen Reader Support: we use semantic HTML and ARIA roles to enhance compatibility with assistive tools.
Resizable Text: users can zoom in or increase text size without breaking layout or content.
Accessible Forms: forms are properly labeled and include helpful error messages.
Focus Indicators: visible focus states help keyboard users track their location on the page.
Consistent UI Patterns: navigation and layout follow familiar and predictable structures.
Error Prevention and Feedback: input validation and guidance are clear and accessible.

Ongoing Commitment
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We regularly assess and improve our digital services to better serve all users, including those relying on assistive technologies.

Feedback
If you experience any accessibility issues on seesam.ee, we’d appreciate your feedback. Please contact us at seesam@seesam.ee. Your input helps us continue improving our services.

Who benefits from accessibility features?

Accessibility isn’t just for people with permanent disabilities — it helps anyone who might be temporarily or situationally limited (e.g., a broken arm, bright sunlight, or a slow internet connection).

Can I use the site without a mouse?

Yes! All key features of seesam.ee are fully navigable using a keyboard. Tab, Enter, and arrow keys help users move between sections and interact with forms or buttons.

Every keypress brings the focus to a next element. The element currently in focus is highlighted by a framed box around it. To activate this element, press the Enter key.

Content magnification

There are three main ways to zoom in on a webpage: using built-in browser functionality, operating system tools, or specific plugins installed in your browser. We recommend to use the easiest way - browser built-in zoom.

All popular browsers allow zooming in and out by pressing the Ctrl (Cmd key in MacOS) and + or - keys. Or alternatively, hold down the Ctrl key and scroll up or down with the mouse.

Is Seesam’s site accessible on mobile devices?

Absolutely! Our design adapts to different screen sizes and input types. Whether you're using a desktop, tablet, or smartphone, accessibility features remain available.

Do you test your site for accessibility?

Yes, we perform manual and automated audits to identify and fix potential accessibility issues. We also follow industry best practices during development to reduce the chance of regressions.

What assistive technologies are supported?

Our platform is compatible with modern assistive tools such as screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver), screen magnifiers, and voice navigation software.

What can I do if I find a problem?

Let us know! We value user feedback and will review any reported accessibility issues. You can reach us at seesam@seesam.ee.
